As someone who grew up with the GameCube, this handheld has been a dream come true. I love being able to play games like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Metroid Prime on a device I can carry everywhere. The emulation is smooth, and the vibrant screen brings these classics to life. Playing Wind Waker again was a surreal experience—I even remembered how much I loved the side quests and exploring the open seas. Highly recommend this to anyone who treasures retro gaming.

The Retrobit Elite 2.0 is a game-changer for fans of PlayStation 2 classics. I’ve been revisiting Final Fantasy X and Metal Gear Solid 3 with no lag or glitches. The controls feel responsive, and the screen makes the games look better than ever. Whether I’m traveling or just relaxing, I can dive back into my favorite PS2 adventures whenever I want. The expandable storage makes adding games super easy too!

I’ve always adored The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker on the GameCube, but I never got the chance to finish it when I was younger. With the Retrobit Gaming Console™ Elite 2.0, I finally purchased the game again just so I could relive my favorite memories and complete the journey. Exploring the Great Sea, collecting heart scales, and doing the side quest with the boat brought back so many nostalgic feelings. Now I can play anywhere—this console is perfect for my daily commute or lounging at home. A must-have for any retro gaming fan!

Download the APK: Visit the Sudachi download page to get the latest version of the emulator.

Install the APK: Navigate to your device's "Settings" > "Security" (or "Privacy") > enable "Unknown Sources" to allow installations from sources other than the Play Store.

Locate the downloaded Sudachi APK file, usually in the "Downloads" folder, and tap to install.

Step 2: Obtain and Load Firmware and Keys

To run Nintendo Switch games, Sudachi requires specific firmware and key files:

Acquire Firmware and Keys: Search online for "Nintendo Switch prod.keys" and "title.keys" to find the necessary downloads.

Load into Sudachi: Open the Sudachi emulator.

Navigate to the settings or configuration menu.

    How to add games

    1. To add games, take the micro SD card on the Retrobit Gaming Console™, and insert it into your computer, you will need a microSD card reader.

    2. Do not format the card. A pop-up will appear that says, "There's a problem with this device, scan and fix it. " Ignore it, as if you reformat the card, you will need to replace the system.

    3. You will need to copy your ROM files over to the SD card and put them into the appropriate folder that matches the system that the game belongs to.  You can download ROM files online.

    4. Once you have downloaded the ROMs you choose to add to your device, copy your ROM files to the SD card into the appropriate folder that matches the system to which the game belongs.  In your case, you will select the ROMS folder GBA.

    5. Safely eject the SD card and add it to your device.  Remember to reset the device.

Bought it for the Gamecube games

I bought this just for GameCube emulation, and I ended up using it for so much more. I was shocked at how well Wii games run (even some of the harder-to-emulate ones), and the fact that I can play 3DS Pokémon games at 2x resolution and fast forward witrh 200% speed is amazing. The pokemon games didn't come preloaded on the 128GB but I just added the ROMS (3DS file format) to the microSD card and reset the console and I was able to play with ease. There are a few ROM hacks of Pokemon Games I want to try, especially the Gala of Darkness Gamecube Hack. Really enjoy having this, gets more attention than my Switch.

          A Trip Down Memory Lane

As a Pokémon fan, the Retrobit Gaming Console™ Elite 2.0 is a dream come true. It's powerful enough to handle games from every generation, including 3DS titles like Pokémon X/Y and Sun/Moon. The smooth gameplay, responsive controls, and vibrant screen enhance the experience of exploring the Pokémon world.

I love reliving my favorite memories from classic titles like Red/Blue to moon/sun. The console also supports ROM hacks like Pokémon Team Rocket Edition and Emerald Kaizo, adding a fresh twist to the classics.

While my focus is on Pokémon, it also performs well with other classics like God of War and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai. For any trainer looking to catch 'em all, this portable and powerful console is the perfect choice for revisiting old favorites or discovering new ones!

          Great for Collectors

As a retro game collector, I’ve always wanted a reliable way to play my PS2 and GameCube library on the go. The Retrobit Elite 2.0 makes it effortless. The emulation quality is top-notch, and the ability to use original game files keeps everything feeling authentic. Plus, it’s lightweight, so I can carry it on trips without hassle. This console brings my collection to life wherever I go.

          The Ultimate Retro Machine!

This is way better than I expected. I got it just for GameCube games (Wind Waker, Mario Sunshine, etc.), but I was blown away by how well it runs PS2 games too! It even came preloaded with a Gundam game I played as a kid, which was such a cool surprise. Connecting to a big screen with Bluetooth controllers makes this feel like a modern console for retro gaming. If you’re on the fence, just get it—you won’t regret it!

Perfect for Co-Op on any Screen

I hooked this up to my TV, paired a Bluetooth controller, and it instantly became the ultimate retro gaming console. It even works well on one of my portable monitors! Playing two-player games like Mario Strikers on a big screen brings back so many childhood memories! The Android games work well, but some require key mapping (which can be tricky). However, once I connected my Xbox controller, it was smooth sailing. If you love old-school games, this is an incredible device to have.

Xbox Cloud Gaming and Retro Gaming on the Go

You get this for the Retro gaming, but with it being an android device, the Xbox Cloud Gaming integration on the Retrobit Elite 2.0 has been phenomenal! I’ve been playing Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite through Xbox Game Pass with ease. The console handles streaming beautifully, and the controls feel natural even for fast-paced games. For anyone who wants the best of both retro and modern gaming in one device, this is it. It’s my go-to travel buddy for all gaming needs.

I am reliving my teenage gaming memories with the 3DS catalogs. I added a few more games but this is absolutely an amazing retro emulator!
